Position: ReStore Associate Intern
Location: 3545 Grand Ave in Gurnee/Remote
Description: The ReStore Associate will help to improve our customer, donor, and volunteer experience at our ReStore Gurnee. They will work alongside our staff to provide excellent customer service, an engaging volunteer experience, and represent Habitat to the community in a positive way.
Duties: The ReStore Associate will engage the community for item donations through outreach. This outreach will also lead to better engagement with community partners and donor dollars to help Habitat expand on its mission statement in the area to better alleviate poverty. The ReStore Associate will also recruit and lead volunteers for projects that are designed to further the capacity of the organization to better serve our homeowners. They will monitor and track all aspects of their mission in preparation for future ReStore Associates and/or volunteers to carry on their work in the future. Lastly, they will strive to always provide excellent customer service to every individual or group they come in contact with each day.
Attire – Please wear sturdy closed-toed shoes or work boots, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt.
