Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity Lake County (HFHLC) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Established in 1989, the sole purpose of Habitat for Humanity Lake County is to provide safe, decent and affordable homes that hard-working, low-income families can call their very own.
Our mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Our vision
A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
What We Do
Young people's enthusiasm, creativity and dedication are an important part of Habitat's work.
Despite the fact that youth under 16 are not allowed to work on our build sites, there are other options for them to help support Habitat's mission of providing safe, affordable housing for families in Lake County.
Habitat for Humanity Lake County values our youth volunteers and supporters. We hope to provide leadership experiences and develop a commitment to service that youth can utilize for the rest of their lives.
