You Can Help Habitat for Humanity Lake County Build More Homes!

There is nothing more rewarding than watching our homes being built from the ground up and knowing that your donation is physically in the walls, roof, or the paint. Habitat for Humanity Lake County builds 5-8 safe, affordable homes in the Lake County, Illinois area for hardworking, low-income families each year. We need your help!

If you are looking for another way to give back we welcome you to participate in our Ongoing Donation Drive. These are items our Construction Team and Volunteers are frequently in need of to continue the construction process on each home throughout the year. A list of these items can be found HERE

We welcome you to use this list to either take a quick shopping trip to your beloved local Home Depot OR you can host your own donation drive to collect items! The items collected can be dropped off at our Main Office (Address located on the side of this page).

If you have a large number of items to donate, please schedule with our Community Engagement Manager prior to your drop off. You can reach the Community Engagement Manager by emailing volunteer@habitatlc.org or by calling 847-623-1020.
