Come volunteer with us alongside your significant other, this Valentine's Day! Whether it's with your spouse, partner, or even a best friend, we invite you to volunteer with us for our 2025 Couple's Build - in which you'll be working alongside our construction team at what will soon be a future home for one of our partner families. Whether you've each volunteered before or this is your first time, you'll both walk away knowing that you made a difference in building homes, community, and hope. We welcome individuals who are 16 or older to participate - no prior experience is required!
Volunteers should be prepared to work inside or out, rain (snow) or shine! (With exceptions for more-intense weather conditions.) Tasks will likely involve painting or drywall but may change based on ongoing construction needs. Those on-site must wear work boots or gym shoes (that can handle dirt or mud), jeans or sturdy pants, and shirts with sleeves. We do not allow shorts, sandals/open-toed shoes, dangly jewelry/scarves, or attire expressing anything offensive, vulgar, and/or obscenities. Volunteers are to bring their own water and lunch for the day (unless choosing to eat somewhere quick offsite). The day will run from about 8am - 3pm, with a lunch break around 11:30am. Tools and safety equipment will be provided. You may bring your own, if preferred.
